to a glass of milk

we will go to a place we’ve never been and take a long walk in the afternoon. we will talk over the best coffee of our lives and not let go of our holding hands. we’ll watch the sun sinks and leaves us a warm reddish memory on the horizon where we’ll kiss.
i know this passion is only as much as infatuation.
and every discovery must have an ending.
but haven’t we travelled so far to be here today and learned a lot along the way?
we’re just two little kids treasuring time, running carelessly to the end of the world. singing to each other, reading signs in the sky pretending to understand. we’re just two little kids who promise to marry each other someday and be soulmates until we die and beyond.
many days and nights i’ve waited. waited for some heartache to rob me of loving you. but it just never happens. "i love you even when you’re a mess and repulsive." you say. and i can’t help but to melt. i know this passion is only as much as infatuation, and i have to be prepared to wake up anytime. you’re way too good to be true, and i’m just dreaming.

"this is where your sanity gives in and love begins…"
